The social responsibility unit in "WARAQ" considered as one of the most important administrative units, as it represents one of the core values ​​that "WARAQ" has worked to promote, as it has been keen to play a pivotal role in enriching its operations, given that social responsibility and sustainability are among the aspects that attract high attention to the "WARAQ", which is the path it takes in its social participation, and this approach was the basis on which the Social Responsibility Department built in "WARAQ" the social and service programs and initiatives that it launched or contributed in sponsoring, taking into account the diversity in the content of those programs and initiatives, and the comprehensiveness of the social return on Various groups of society, with a greater focus on the approved charities, the past year has witnessed many charitable and social development programs as well as IFTAR programs for fasting individuals. Over 246,000 riyals were donated to various social activities. Waraq, in cooperation with the Committee of Patients’ Friends in the Asharqia Chamber, organized a visit to King Fahd University Hospital, where patients were visited and the hospital’s needs for medical devices were sensed. WARAQ organized in cooperation with the Social Development Committee “Make a Skill" Program for Youth development and rehabilitation during the first semester break.

WARAQ continues its support for the activities of collecting paper and cardboard waste, which led to an increase in the number of citizens working in this sector and an increase in their investments by motivating them, training and financing them with equipment in installments.
